1890The James Manufacturing Company is formed.
1915James Manufacturing Company marketed its first incubator.
1946Introduced Model 1080 with advanced air flow for even temperature and humidity.
1959Big J incubation system introduced. Patented laminar air flow and plastic egg flat.
1959Plastic egg flat introduced.
1961Painted finish on cabinet panels for visual and sanitary improvement.
1963Revised controls incorporating fused circuitry.
1965Turkey Big J incubation system introduced.
1967Improved monitoring of egg turning.
1969Changed entrance and exit configuration of incubator cabinets to offer 4 options at customer's preference.
1971Further improvements to incubator rack coatings.
1975Introduction of solid state controls with remote monitoring capabilities (Accutrol) control system.
1977Introduced Mark II incubation system. This system was specifically for small hatcheries.
1979Super J incubation system was introduced.
1980Introduced the microprocessor control system (PT-100 control system).
1982Made significant changes in hatcher cabinet by incorporating common wall design.
1983Introduced Super J Turkey incubation system.
1984The Mark II system was replaced by the completely new Hatchcommander incubation system providing both single-stage and multi-stage operational procedures. This system has the flexibility to be used for chicken, duck and turkey production.
1985Hatchcom System (Data retrieval system) introduced.
1986Significant changes made in cabinet construction of all incubator models because of changes made in the Hatchcommander series.
1988PX model hatcher introduced using plastic hatcher trays.
1989Introduced the option of 77 plastic egg flat for customers having the need to accommodate extra large eggs.
1990Introduced Euro model incubator and hatcher.
1991Introduced AVN system for specialty hatching.
1992Introduced ACI single-stage incubation with Sentry controls.
1994Introduced Hatchery Disinfectant System.
1995Introduced Room Sentry, temperature and humidity, room monitor.
1996Redesigned the Tunnel incubator rack to accommodate farm transport.
1996Introduced the 168 egg flat, a one-piece flat to replace the 42 and 84 flats.
1997Introduced the SSTS egg flat, a flat designed to maximize transport efficiencies.
1998CE approval established.
1999Upgraded computer monitoring system (Hatchcom III) supported by the Microsoft Windows Operating System.
1999Surface Mount Technology (SMT) replaced the through-hole technology in our circuit boards.
1999Introduced C02 Monitoring.
1999Developed Rack loader.
2002Introduced new Platinum Series Single Stage incubators and hatchers.
2005Introduced P120 Platinum incubator with extra large capacity.
2006Introduced P40H Platinum hatcher to complement P120 incubator.
2006Introduced PS500 Multi Stage Controller for user friendly, cost effective conversion from electromechanical to digital controllers.
2008Innovation of Dual Zone Controls on Platinum Series P120 Extra-Large Capacity Incubator
