Jamesways Multi-Stage Incubation System advances eggs efficiently through
the incubation process in a precisely controlled environment. The incubator's
design allows individual settings of two racks into a progressive unidirectional
movement through the incubator cabinet.
The Jamesway chicken incubators
are designed for six or twelve racks. These are set either once per week for the
six rack, or twice per week for the twelve rack cabinet. The turkey/duck incubators
accommodate eight racks, and are set only once per week. Fresh eggs are loaded
onto the racks and set in position at the entrance end of the cabinet. The racks
are then advanced forward until they are removed from the incubator for transfer
to the hatcher. The process takes approximately 18 days for chickens, and 25 days
for turkeys and ducks.
The unique environmental system of Jamesways
Multi-Stage Incubators concentrates conditioned fresh air to cool the oldest eggs,
while using the heat and carbon dioxide from the advanced eggs to warm the early
developing embryos. This process ensures each stage of development receives its
proper mixture of heat, moisture and carbon dioxide, resulting in an increased
production of higher quality day-old birds.
All Multi-Stage Incubators
are equipped with Jamesways dependable PT-100 microprocessor controls for
accurate monitoring and control of incubator set points.
