Jamesway's
PS500 is a cost effective conversion that precisely monitors and maintains the
environment within the incubator.
Jamesway's new PS500
Controller for multistage incubators and hatchers has been designed as a user
friendly, economical choice ideal for conversions from electromechanical to digital
controllers. All control components are housed in a rugged steel enclosure mounted
on the front of the machine for easy access and servicing.
The PS500 is engineered
for simplicity and reliability, based on proven technologies from years of experience
with incubation systems. The PS500 is loaded with features that make it easy to
use. High contrast digital LED temperature readouts and status indicators quickly
inform the user of all critical machine functions. All programming functions are
accessed through a 16 button keypad. The PS500 controller can be networked
to Jamesway's Hatchcom data retrieval system with the addition of an expansion
module, enabling collection of temperature, alarm, and status information, as
well as remote setpoint operation. The system is compatible with the PT-100 system,
allowing side by side operation. Through precise monitoring and maintaining
of the environment within an incubator or setter, the PS500 provides for the
production of healthy birds and high hatchability.
PS500 System Features
| Keypad
interface for simple programming of setpoints and other machine functions. |
| | Calibration
of temperature and humidity is carried out electronically, without the need to
open the control enclosure. |
| Controls
are mounted on front of machine, allowing easy installation and access for maintenance. |
| LED
display with complete incubator/hatcher information, including temperature and
humidity setpoint and actual readings, twelve status indicators, and eight alarm
indicators. |
| The
display readout can be easily switched between degrees Fahrenheit and Celsius. |
| Rack
turn interval is programmable to any value between 15 and 240 minutes. |
| Alarm
acknowledge delay is programmable to any value between 1 and 99 minutes. |
| Shutting
off fans at entrance end of incubator automatically silences alarms for up to
five minutes, after which alarms become audible. This feature is designed to give
an alarm if user forgets to turn fans back on. |
| Interior
light automatically shuts off after 15 minutes when fans are operating. |
| Direct
relay output for optional water cooling on incubators. |
| Controller
is networked to Hatchcom with optional expansion module. |
| One
circuit board controls all display and machine functions, and can be easily replaced
through the use of plug connectors. |
| Modular
construction of electric components for greater reliability and low maintenance. |
| Steel
enclosure rated IP65 (dust tight with protection against low pressure water jet)
housing all control components. |
| Temperature
probes (dry blub and web bulb) are included eliminating the need for mercury thermostats. |
| Mounting
accessories and water reservoir included with system. |
